About the company
Ambrosiae, a young Italian firm specialized in the production of breakfast foods and vegetal raw snacks, was founded in 2014 in Monsampolo del Tronto, in the Marche region, thanks to the determination of Martina Olivieri in the creation of healthy alternatives to the common nibbles on the market. The corporate name is not accidental: the Latin term Ambrosia denotes the gods’ food, synonymous for immortality and excellence. The company aims to the latter, through the germination process and the low temperature drying, in order to create foods rich in vitamins, minerals and enzymes. All the Ambrosiae products are vegetal, organic, OGM free, gluten-free, soy free, without additives, thickeners, sweeteners and artificial flavourings. Ambrosiae carefully selects raw materials’ suppliers, preferring local ones, when it is possible, and choosing fair trade in the case of imported products. The packagings are recyclable and some of them are entirely made of paper, the firm is going to extend this kind of wrapping to all products in the future.
About the product
The Über Granola with hezelnuts and cocoa beans is a raw mix made with cereals and fruits high in magnesium and phosphorus. The main ingredient, the buckwheat, is subjected to the germination process: the seed comes to life enriching itself with vitamins and minerals, the enzymatic processes are activated and the sprout is slowly dried. This method helps to digest the cereal, keeping intact all the nutrients contained inside. The gluten-free product also consists of organic Italian toasted hezelnuts, gluten-free organic wholegrain oat flakes, organic dates, organic Italian fresh apples, organic cocoa beans 6%, high oleic organic sunflower seed oil, organic mulberries, organic raisins, organic cocoa mass 6%, organic cocoa powder 1% and sea salt. The granola, according to the analysis made by UNIONE ITALIANA FOOD, has 45% less sugar than the average of best selling muesli and breakfast cereals (representing 51% of sales)(Source: IRI, reference year 2018). Composed of crunchy agglomerates, in which the intensity of cocoa is prevalent, it distinguishes itself for the enveloping taste of whole hezelnuts and for the delicate sweetness of raisins. Perfect to savor it as a snack, it can be also enjoyed with yogurts or vegetal drinks, especially with hezelnut milks. Available in the size of 250 g, it has a double packaging made with recyclable paper.

La Über Granola nocciole e fave di cacao è un mix crudista a base di cereali e frutta ad alto contenuto di magnesio e fosforo. L’ingrediente principale, il grano saraceno, è sottoposto al processo di germogliazione: il seme prende vita arricchendosi di vitamine e minerali, si attivano i processi enzimatici ed il germoglio viene fatto essiccare lentamente. Tale procedimento facilita la digestione del cereale, mantenendo intatte le sostanze nutritive contenute al suo interno. Il prodotto, senza glutine, si compone anche di nocciole biologiche tostate italiane, fiocchi di avena bio integrale senza glutine, datteri biologici, mele fresche italiane biologiche, fave di cacao bio 6%, olio di semi di girasole bio alto oleico, more di gelso bio, uvetta biologica, massa di cacao bio 6%, cacao in polvere biologico 1% e sale marino.
