About the product
Benevo Duo is a complete vegetal food for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, formulated by professional pet nutritionists. In addition to be free of animal ingredients, artificial flavours and colours, it distinguishes itself for the absence of allergens such as soy, wheat and dairy. Approved by the Vegetarian Society and Vegan Society, it has also obtained the PETA certification because it’s not tested on animals. Its composition is free of gluten and OGM, infact it contains only water, potatoes, carrots, oat groats, vegetable oil, peas, brown rice, tomatoes, blueberries, cranberries (these last two wildberries with the ascorbic acid are useful for healthy ph levels in urine) and brewer yeast. Supplemented with B group vitamins, folic acid, trace elements such as selenium, manganese sulphate, iron, copper sulphate, zinc sulphate and taurine of non-animal origin, it provides 7% of crude proteins and 2% of fat content. The product, with its compact consistency, is very appetizing, convincing even cats accustomed to a carnivorous diet, however the size of the tin (369 gr) is more suitable for large animals. It’s recommended to give one can to dogs of 9 kg, duplicating and tripling the dose for dogs of 18 kg and 27 kg; as regards the dosage for cats, Benevo suggests an amount of 93 gr for cats of 2,25 kg, 185 gr for 4,5 kg and 277 gr for 6,7 kg of weight. The company proposes to divide the dosage in two portions per day and to duplicate or triplicate it in presence of puppies, pregnant and lactating females.

Benevo Duo è un alimento vegetale completo per cani e gatti di tutte le età e taglie, formulato da nutrizionisti professionisti nel settore del pet food. Oltre ad essere privo di ingredienti animali, aromi artificiali e coloranti, si caratterizza per l’assenza di allergeni quali soia, grano e latticini. Approvato dalla Vegetarian Society e dalla Vegan Society, ha anche ottenuto la certificazione Peta in quanto non testato su animali. La composizione è tale da rendere il prodotto privo di glutine e OGM, infatti tutto ciò che si trova al suo interno è costituito da acqua, patate, carote, avena, olio vegetale, piselli, riso integrale, pomodori, mirtilli, mirtilli rossi (questi ultimi due frutti di bosco insieme all’acido ascorbico contribuiscono a mantenere sani i livelli di ph nelle urine) e lievito di birra. Integrato con vitamine del gruppo B, acido folico, oligoelementi come selenio, manganese, ferro, rame, zinco e taurina di origine non animale, fornisce il 7% di proteine grezze e il 2% di olio grezzo. Il prodotto, dalla consistenza compatta, risulta appetibile, riuscendo a convincere anche gatti abituati ad un’alimentazione carnivora, tuttavia il formato da 369 gr lo rende più adatto ad animali di grande taglia. Si consiglia la somministrazione di una lattina a cani di 9 kg, duplicando e triplicando la dose per cani di 18 kg e 27 kg; per quanto riguarda il dosaggio riservato ai felini, si suggerisce una quantità pari a 93 gr per gatti di 2,25 kg, a 185 gr per 4,5 kg e a 277 gr per 6,7 kg di peso corporeo. L’azienda propone di suddividere la dose in due porzioni al giorno e di duplicarla o triplicarla in presenza di cuccioli, femmine gravide e in allattamento.
